Hawkgirl/Covergirl Collection Update #59

The Hawkgirl/Covergirl Collection started out as kind of a lark (pun intended). It began when I recalled and later confirmed that the character was a “rare bird” who only occasionally appeared on the cover of a comic book. This was throughout the silver age, when I was a kid growing-up in the Sixties. For example, there was the 1st Hawkman series that ran for 27 issues from 1964 to 1969. Hawkgirl appeared on the cover of only six of those books. Yet in the past six months she has appeared inside of 19 books and has appeared on the cover of at least ten of those.

Submitted for your approval are two of the more recent covers.
